Lad & Co, a chippy shop based in the sunny island of Singapore, serving no-nonsense British-inspired chippies. As the lead creative, I was tasked to update Lad & Co’s Instagram to increase presence and conversion rates.

The New Social

Moving away from just promoting the dishes, Lad & Co’s new social features various details we often overlook that go into making “A Good Meal”. The overall feed is one that showcases Lad & Co’s authentic, unabashed personality.

“A Good Meal”

What is it? Just as a delicious dish is made from a great blend of ingredients, a good meal at Lad & Co is made up of more than just the food. The staff, the quality, the dining experience... all contribute to a good meal.

Photography Style

To reflect its prime location on Tanglin Road and its epicurean clientele, a change in photographic style was necessary. Moving away form the shot-on-iPhone style of image, the dishes, staff and other BTS are now stylistically shot and edited.

Paid Ads

Through a series of A/B tests, we narrowed down the type of ads that our target audience in Singapore prefers - to feature food in the first few seconds alongside catchy beats.
